Your son/daughter is enrolled in a woodworking class this trimester. He/she will be using various power machinery that could cause injury if not used properly. Every precaution is taken to prevent accidents including a thorough safety unit on each machine before they can use them. Each student must watch all safety demonstrations for each machine and pass all safety tests with 100%. It will be important that all students using these machines use them in a reasonable and mature manner. This will require their full concentration and attention to all aspects of working in the woodshop.

I give my son/daughter permission to operate all the power machinery provided in the wood shop.
