Throwing Device
In teams of two, you need to design a throwing device that will launch a 3d printed ball at a target.
Materials:
1/8" Birch - Parts no bigger than 1' long and 1" wide.
3" x 1/4" Dowel
ABS - Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (3d Printer Filament) for ammo. (Ball: 1/2" Diameter)
Hot Glue Gun
2 Large Rubber Bands
String
#6-32 Nuts and Bolts (1/2" or 3/4")
Expectations:
Launch at a target 3 feet away
Hand Crank to load
Trigger or release mechanism
Utilize mechanical advantage. (Leverage)
Utilize Proper Joinery
Submit:
One .pdf that has all of the drawings on it.
Individual Parts fully dimensioned.
Bill of Materials filled out.
Assembly Drawing
