Walls
The grain should be going up and down for the walls. Add up the length of all of the walls and add 1 in. Chop a board that length.
Joint one Edge
Rip to the correct width with jointed edge against the fence.
Take the blade guard out and put the wooden insert in so that Duffey can resaw.
Replace the blade guard. Make sure the kickback guards are down and the back of the insert will allow a board to slide over it.
Plane to the correct thickness.
Chop to the correct length using a stop and clamp. Since you have the clamp you don't need to hold the board.
Top/Bottom
Chop a board that is 12 in. It is longer than we need because of safety.
Joint one Edge.
Rip to the correct width.
Plane to the correct thickness.
Chop to the correct length using jig with clamp. Do not hold the board. Let the clamp do that.
Utilize 1/4" dado and Jig to cut dado with the blade height at 3/4 of an inch.
